JUST AN UPDATE, FYI...These intel is straight from the warzone ;D
Important Gold Rush
information....please read and take note!
Safezone setup:
For maximum playing space the safezone for the day will be the carpark/part of the old village area.
You will be working out of the back of your cars although some tables will be available. Saying that, these tables will be prioritised for people who get dropped off at site and don't have cars to use.
The carpark will be permanently manned by a member of staff and the gate will be shut from 9.45 until 15.15 so all valuables will be safe.
BB sales, Pyro sales, tea, coffee, cans and sweets will be available at the safezone throughout the day.
The carpark safezone is the only place on site where you do not have to wear your goggles/glasses
Booking in:
Booking in will be split into two. Each team (Red and Blue) will have its own booking in table. We feel this will cut down queues.
When you arrive at site go to your teams booking in table to sign your disclaimer, pay, get your hand stamped and more importantly get your coloured armband!
If at any point you come to a marshall saying you do not have an armband we will take it that you haven't paid!
BB sales and pyrotechnic sales will be done at another table along with hire gun rentals.
Chronoing of guns:
There will be a Chrono station setup and manned by a member of our marshall team. Every gun you want to use on the day MUST
be chronoed. Once you have been chornoed and your gun has passed we will put a cable tie on your trigger guard. This must stay on your gun for the whole event.
It is your responsibility
to get your gun
chronoed by 9.30am. Any person who has not had their gun chronoed by this time or who is found in the field without a cable tie to show the gun has been chronoed will lose 100 gold points instantly for their team.

Game overview:
Each team will have known objectives throughout the day.
Some of these objectives are rolling and some are timed at 11.00, 12.00, 13.00 and 14.00.
Secret missions will be allocated to each team from the HQ at 10.30, 11.30, 13.30 and 14.30.
Each mission is worth gold
Each team can use this gold to purchase different things throughout the day. Only team commanders can authorise this.
Air strikes:
Each team will have airstrikes at their disposal. If an airstrike is called in a Marshall will make this clear by throwing a pyro in the area and calling "Airstrike!" . Anybody caught within a radius chosen by the marshall will be classified as killed without the chance to be saved by a medic. The marshall will make it clear who is has been killed. Hiding in cover does not save you from an airstrike.
Medics:
Medic live instructions are as follows:
1) You will carry one medic armband into the field! (any extra lives carried into a field will result in a penalty for your team)
2) Once shot you will call hit, remove your medic armband from your pocket and hold it visible in the air.
Please stand up and make yourself visible so everyone knows you are hit.
You can move out of a firing line but cant use it to your advantage.
Be aware! Fire will come your way as team mates come to rescue you! If you are not happy with this just call yourself dead
3) Any member of the same team can come, take your armband from you and tie it onto your arm putting you back into play
4) If you get hit again you are classified as dead and must make your way back to your regen point, remove hyour armband, put it in your pocket and rejoin the game.
Extras:
If an enemy player touches you whilst you are waiting to be medic'd you will be classified as executed and cannot be saved. You must make your way back to the regen point, put your armband in your pocket and rejoin the game.
You do have the option to 'bleed out' if you feel you are waiting too long or if you know you cannot be rescued. Once you decide you want to 'bleed out' you must make your way back to your regen point, put your armband in your pocket and rejoin the game. Once a decision to bleed out has been made you cannot change your mind!
Team Medics:
Each team will have two team medics.
These team medics will carry a vast supply of medic armbands.
A medic can use one of their own armbands to heal a player waiting to be medic'd as follows:
1) Once shot you will call hit, remove your medic armband from your pocket and hold it visible in the air
2) A medic may approach you and take an armband from his stash and use that to get you back into the game
3) Put your armband away in your pocket ready to use it again and get back into the fight.
4) If you have been rescued by a medic you will have more than one armband on your arm. Once you are dead (bled out or executed) you return to your regen point and remove all medic armbands. Put them all, apart from one, into the medic box. You then return to the field with your one medic armband as usual.
There is no limit on the amount of times a medic can revive the same player. However, once the medic runs out of medic armbands they will have to return to the safezone to collect more.
It is vital you understand how this works.
Cheating:
Any player caught cheating or breaking site rules will be removed from the game. Due to the size of the event we are operating a ZERO TOLERANCE
policy.
Cheating contains but is not limited too:
Not calling yourself hit when a BB strikes you
Ignoring a marshalls instructions
Arguing with a marshalls decision
Abusing staff, team members or opposition
Going out of bounds
Trying to gain an unfair advantage with medic lives
The success of this event relies as much on you as it does the staff who are organising it and running the day.
