It was our turn(red armband team) to be the "defensive team" on the 2nd set of Game scenario from the much-awaited 2nd gathering of all Pinoy Airsoft Teams in United Kingdom. The OpFors(blue armband team)will be the attacking/offensive team. Their mission is to clear off the 3 Phases of lined-houses embedded with armed enemies- us, the red armband team. Assaulting head-on to such structures will be suicide. Some blue armband OpFors tried to assault head-on but it was like shaking a bees' nest. Hell breaks loose...bbs spitting out from the open windows, doors and corners accompanied by seemingly non-stop automatic gunfires. They didn't survive for long. Still, with brilliant tactic, good maneouvring and persistent attacks at the left and right positions..the defense broke down and diminished.1st phase defense lasted for more than 15minutes. It was not an easy task for the attacking team. Right away, after we got hit, we quickly moved to the 2nd phase. Casualties from the 1st phase quickly top-upped their AEGs' ammos and positioned strategically in the 2nd line of houses. I positioned myself in one of the rooms of the middle part of lined houses. Team Warhawks operatives mostly positioned in the houses and at the corner of the left hand side(if you are facing the OpFors) of lined houses. Team Filcombat players positioned themselves at the right hand side of the lined houses.
..to be continued..I need to sleep.. I will continue tomorrow. I still got 2 nightshifts coming up.

I trained my JG Steyr Aug to the nearest entrance leading to the house whilst I am situated in the rear room. Whilst loading up bbs, I already instructed my team mates to give updates periodically of any "contacts" and OpFors positions and its real-time flashpoints. In such manner, everybody is aware of the current situations in different area of defense. Hmmm..it seems no OpFors dared to go in the entrance or pass-by even at the alley.. But after 5minutes, I could hear gunfires(I mean AEGfires)from the left and right flank positions. I couldn't dare to move from my location just to see what's happening from those said positions. But after 8minutes, I just heard that the right flank defense(Filcombat area of jurisdiction) was about to be overran by the attacking OpFors. Immediately, I pulled from my position, pulled out a pair of 300-round hi-cap mags and placed it on the window jamb for easy reach, and trained my gun from the rear window and...lo and behold...what a beauty!!!....."swarm" of OpFors(hmmm..maybe around 8 attackers)made their way in! They are 20metres away from me. It seems they didn't notice my location. I didn't give them a chance to get in to those "neutralised" houses. I immediately squeezed my trigger and made a series of short bursts. All of the 6 OpFors were killed on the spot. They immediately pulled out. D*%^N!! They were blocking and in the line-of-fire from another potential targets(incoming OpFors situated down the side-road). Pic courtesy of Sir Red-X. I then noticed that there were 2 armed men in the house(2 houses away)..they were just standing at the door and were looking for something outside and their guns untrained at me..oh, my!! "Blue armbands!!!".. I quickly changed mag, and fired unto them!! WOW! What a sweet words to hear - - -"HIT!" "HIT!" "HIT!" "HIT!" "HIT!" They immediately came out. Still, more OpFors at the right-flank(side-road) are about to do a quick assault. I then fired and let loose some bbs and reinforced by another hail of bbs coming from my team mates situated from the left-flank positions, 2-3 OpFors declared hit. 2-3 seconds lull....2 OpFors just passed by inside the house where I am in. They came from the front room and about to come out to the rear door without noticing my presence. Less than 4metres, I was hesitant to fire on to them. That could surely give them bb welts..(my AEG was chronoed recently in Finmere at 324fps). I immediately shouted onto them- "BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"... Seemingly, time was frozen for few seconds and I could see on their faces the surprise look and relief that no bbs fall onto them. They immediately shouted "HIT" and came out from the house. I was already anticipating that more OpFors from where they got in could be in any second be at the front room, and small corridor of the house..and any second would be firing at me. But still, I couldn't help checking out the situation outside especially the overran right flank defense. I then heard 2-3 friendlies from the left flank defense shouting and then a marshal shouted to stop temporarily and he was giving instructions that everybody should moved out. There was a bit of confusion outside. I asked him if I was included. He said that remaining defense should stay as is. Whew!! OpFors repositioned at the right flank just down the side road.. It seems they are hesitant to do an all-out assault knowing that they are encountering stiff resistance from few defenders embedded from the houses. Exchanges of bbs continued for 5-6minutes. But then.... to late for me to react, a lone OpFor from the front room and shouted at me - "BANG!" "BANG!" "BANG!". I was relieved that not a single bb pelted me. I could have acquire some bb welts(remembrance from the Gathering..hihihi). I quickly shouted "HIT!" "HIT!" "HIT!" and came out from the house. I thought that observing the Golden Rule could have save me from having those bb stings and welts..hihihi.. or it just good karma...or it just pure luck.... oh well, there's another chance tp defend ..at the 3rd phase. Time to move on on to the last phase. . .
